A Memory Owed

Our Business Support Executive (and part time actor), Andrew Quinton is starring as the lead in a new short film ‘A Memory Owed’.

The film is being made by Martin Hemingway Moseley and PaleBlue Pictures, to pay tribute to all the men and women who worked and supported Bomber Command throughout the Second World War.

In this role, he plays a young RAF wireless operator in 1944, who signs up for RAF Bomber Command and takes to the skies in a Lancaster Bomber over enemy territory.

The film will be shot at East Kirby Airbase this year with one of the only 3 remaining operational Lancasters in the world, the Avro Lancaster NX611 ‘Just Jane’

The crew have started filming and in a twist of fate our Technical Director Gareth Swindell actually has a direct link to these magnificent machines as his grandmother used to cycle 2 miles to the Derby airbase to repair the Bomber fleet during WWII!

Right now, ‘A Memory Owed’ is needing support funding the remaining scenes and has set up a fundraiser.

All donations are welcome and you will get you a special mention in the credits of the film if you’d like to support!
